Emma's Princess Party...Dec 2007
Disney Christmas Vacation
Danny and I decided that we should go to Disney one more time before the girls start elementary school. It will really be hard to take winter vacations once they are in "real" school. We don't want to have "truent" children. tee hee!!!! So, we invited ourselves on Emily and David's vacation. We had a great time. The kids had a great time. Disney is beautiful this time of the year. This vacation we made reservations at the Bibbidi Bobiddi Boutique in Cinderella's Castle at MK. The girls loved the attention. They got their hair, nails and makeup done. I brought dresses from home. Emma wore Belle's christmas dress and Hannah wore Aurora's christmas dress. They looked adorable. We then headed over to Epcot. I made reservations for them to have lunch with the Princesses. They got to see Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel and Jasmine. They loved it. This was the first time Emma met Jasmine so she was very excited. Another highlight for this particular day, we were chosen as Disney's First Family for the day. We were on our way to BB Boutique and headed toward the monorail when were stopped. They gave the girls several souveniers and we rode in the front monorail car with the driver. It was very exciting. This was also the coldest day so far. I also was lucky enough to get reservations for Chef Mickey's. The girls loved it. Hannah smooched up all the characters. I think they liked it....They came by our table several times!!!! This trip was special too because the girls were tall enough to ride the "big Kid" rides....and they did!!!! I was shocked. Several of the rides they did more than once. Hannah even cried because she wanted to ride Aerosmith's rockin' rollercoaster. Still a couple of inches short. She thought Emma and Grant were going to ride....NOT!!!!!! Well, we had a great time. Hopefully next time we go, the Evans' will make the trip, too! It would be fun for the kids. Pics to come later.
Hannah December 2007
We received a letter today that Hannah has been chosen as "Gymnast of the Month". We are so proud of her. Her instructor feels she has been doing outstanding. She's really mastering all of her skills and almost ready to move to the next level. Maybe one day we'll see her in the olympics!!!

Halloween 2007
This was the first party in our new home. We were scared. No damage to the house that we are aware of. We had a great time. The test tube shots went over well especially the BJ's ( use your imagination ). Thanks a bunch to Em and David....they spent the night and were extra hands cleaning up!!! The next morning we had some good chit chat around a pretty good breakfast. Danny got up and fixed a spread. Looking forward to next year. Next up is the crawfish boil!!
October 2007
Unfortunately, I have gotten my entries out of order. This is a good indicator of how crazy life has been this year!!! We've had alot going on this month. Lots of birthday parties, parties at school, halloween parties and of course, HALLOWEEN.
We also took some time out of our crazy schedule to join our friends the McKay's at the Houston Zoo. The kids had a great time. I actually think we did this in November...but at this point does it really matter?
So, for those of you who keep up with us....a month in the life of the Moore's.....minus most of the craziness.

September 2007
This has been a really busy month for us. We went to Vegas (labor day weekend), I turned 29 again!!!!, the girls went back to school, and we have officially joined the birthday circuit. We have had 2 birthdays so far and 2 more scheduled for october.....whew! We celebrated Rachel's birthday at The Melting Pot. Always a great choice! Emma keeps us busy with dance and DOTS and Hannah with gymnastics.
DOTS is a program with her dance company where they pair the younger girls with the older girls.....big sis/lil sis. The older girls help them acclimate to company as well as just being their friend. Emma's big sis is Kaleigh. She's adorable. They have hit it off well.
September 6, 2007
The girls started another year of pre-k today. This year we are at Klein Methodist. They are excited about making new friends. They will attend 9am to 1pm....a little different than the pre-k in Laporte (Little Blessings). We really miss everyone at Little Blessings. They loved the girls as if they were they're own!!!
Labor day holiday...Vegas baby!!!!
We've coined a new saying "What's happening in vegas should be happening to you".....and that is the truth!!! Also, make sure it stays there, too! TeeHee!!! We had an awesome time, again.....we always do. We played lots of crap, we saw 3 shows, we partied till 3am and got a tattoo! Kerry has corrupted me...what can I say. As always, looking forward to next year.
July 3rd
Today is Papa's birthday.....66 years old!!! The girls had a good time. They love birthdays so they really enjoyed giving Papa his birthday presents and helping him blow out the candles on his birthday cake.
4th of July
We spent the afternoon and evening at the McKays. Emily had a nice spread prepared. We watched Pasadena and Deer Park fireworks that evening. It was really nice hanging out with the gang. The Evans' were there also. The girls had fun playing with Kayla and Grant.

Summertime fun June 1, 2007
Gymfest May 19, 2007
Today is Hannah's day to shine. She has been working very hard with her coach to learn the routine she and her class will perform. She loves gymnastics and of course, performing for an audience. She was out on the equipment before the program ever started looking for applause. We enjoyed the program and afterwards they presented awards to the students. They stood on the platform, like at the olympics, for the gold medalists. It was pretty cool. Hannah definitely enjoyed herself.

Sarah's 4th Birthday... May 12, 2007
We spent the weekend in Baton Rouge celebrating Sarah's birthday. She had a Strawberry Shortcake party....it was too cute....Strawberry Shortcake made a short visit. The kids loved it. They played in the moonwalk, had cake and ice cream and lastly beat the candy out of a pinata....literally with a real stick!!! It took several adults to finally get it cracked open. On the way home Sunday, we stopped and visited with Granny for a bit.

Hooked on Pan....5-6-07
This weekend was Emma's spring recital Hooked on Pan. She is in Scene 3....The Butterflies. The girls did a great job. Everyone remembered their routine. Emma did a Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon show. It's pretty tiring but fun. It's nice to see the accomplishments that all the girls (and guys) have made throughout the year in the recital. I'm amazed at how professional the choreography. We purchased a dvd so maybe sometime we can share it with everyone. I think everyone's favorite was Captain Hook...he was quite a character!!
The studio is having professional pics done of the girls so I will post those when I get them.

The month of April...summed up!
The month of April was pretty busy for us. We had 5 birthdays.....Alexandra, Sydney, Mom, Grant and Danny......whew!!! The girls love birthday parties so they have had a great time. Our weeks are full with gymnastics, ballet, tap and cheer.
We had a couple of visits with Dylan...the new addition to our extended family and friends. He's too cute.
We made a trip to Madisonville to visit MawMaw, MawMaw Fran and PawPaw.
The month of May looks to be as busy.

Starting this blog....4-17-07
This has not been an easy process and I still have quite a few things left to set up. But I loved the ability to add music to my page. Thanks to Emily....the blogger innovator....she has music on her page and introduced me to this idea. I'd eventually like to figure out how I can add a playlist. Look for more soon...I need to also figure out how to link this website with my yahoo blog.
